Widely used in homes, shops, restaurants, pubs and bars both internally and externally, brick tiles add character and charm to any environment. This unique range of brick slips is the perfect way to create the highly desirable authentic reclaimed feature wall appearance.
Our brick slips begin their life as full sized bricks which are manufactured using time-honoured traditional techniques. We then cut the face off the brick, which gives each slips its individuality and genuine texture.
Every product in our growing and innovative collection offers an authentic reclaimed appearance which is only available from Apollo Brickslips.
What Are Brick Slips
Brick slips are a thin, lightweight tile made to look like a traditional brick. They are often used as a decorative feature for interior or exterior design, as our brick slips are cut directly from the brick they offer both the appearance and texture of real brick. Brick Slips are also known by other names including Brick Tiles, Brick Effect Tiles and Brick Cladding.
How Are Brick Slips Made
Brick Slips can be made using many different methods. For us we keep it real! Our 20mm Brick Slips are cut from real brick.
We take a full brick that we import, then using our state of the art manufacturing equipment we cut the facing of the brick to produce a 20mm brick slip.
The brick slip gives a real brick appearance and texture.
What Size Are The Brick Slips
Brick Slip sizes can vary but on every product page, the dimensions of the brick slips are clearly listed. We do advise that as our brick slips are cut from real clay brick that there can be some deviations in the sizing of our brick slips due to the rustic nature so please allow 2-3mm on each dimension.

Do You Do Herringbone Brick Slips
No, despite popular belief, Herringbone Brick Slips are not really a thing. Herringbone refers to a pattern that you or your installer creates with our Brick Slips. See image below for reference.
To have a herringbone finish, you simply need to install the brick slips in a herringbone pattern.
What Patterns Can I Create
There are many different options when it comes to creating a pattern using your brick slips.
These include the below:
Stretcher Bond – For homeowners who are seeking a traditional bricked pattern look then Stretcher Bond is the design we most commonly know. It’s the standard way of laying bricks and promises to showcase the versatility of brick slips. This works with almost all brick slips but looks particularly impressive when used with the likes of Cottage Blend Brick Slips or London Weathered Brick Slips.
English Bond – If you’re looking for a finish that involves a more refined and sophisticated look then the English Bond finish might be the preferred option. It’s unique and involves using alternating courses of stretchers and headers.
English Garden Wall – Achieving a truly unique, exterior look, this design is ideal should you be looking to make an impact with your brick slips. With one course of headers for every third course of stretchers, it delivers a really quirky finish and would fit something along the lines of the Red Stock Brick Slips.
English Cross Bond – This finish might be more suited to those Brick Slips that have a smoother or more uniformed appearance to highlight the quality of the workmanship. This design would be highlighted by using the Old Coach House Brick Slips or the Farmhouse Brick Slips.
Flemish Bond – If you want to create a more rugged look that might be associated with old Victorian properties then this is the right choice for you. Creating something unique is always a great way to create the perfect look and the Old Bayswater Blend Brick Slips might be the right choice.
Flemish Garden Wall – Create a neat look and finish with this choice of design. It’s clean, simple and has a subtle touch of quirkiness to it. To achieve a clinical look, you could opt for the Keswick Blend Brick Slips.
Monk Bond – This blend of different coloured Brick Slips opens the door to creativity. Mix it up with the Iced Grey Brick Slips Brick Slips and the St Andrews Brick Slips to create a real focal point in any space.
Header Bond – The design is much like the Stretcher Bond but it uses half bricks throughout. Therefore, you could opt for any Brick Slips to use for this design.
Stack Bond – This provides a very uniformed finish but one that does look impressive. Implemented with the right Brick Slip such as the Rosewood Brick Slips will finish off any space.
Herringbone – The great thing about Brickslips is that they are so versatile that they can be used on floors. Herringbone is a popular design when it comes to flooring so you could opt for something as clinical as the London Weathered Yellow Brick Slips or the Normandy Grey Brick Slips.
